El surfista local especialista en olas gigantes MANOA DROLLET, ha eliminado al actual numero 1 del ranking 2010 de la ASP World Tour of Surfing, el sudáfricano Jordy Smith. El europeo Tiago Pires( Portugal) continÃa pasando rondas junto al francés Jeremy Flores.
Ahora en la RONDA 4 del BILLABONG PRO TAHITI con el nº1 y 2º del ranking eliminandos ( Jordy smith y Taj burrow respectivamente) , el 9 veces campeón del Mundo , el americano Kelly Slater , se situará en cabeza del Ranking al finalizar este evento.
