Jeremy Flores (Capreton, France/ Reunion) (pictured) hoists his Gerry Lopez surfboard trophy during prizegiving after winning the Billabong Pipe Masters victory after defeating Australian Kieren Perrow (left) in the final at Pipeline, Oahu, Hawaii today.Flores clawed his way back from a combination situation (needing a combination of scores) to defeat Perrow by posting a 5.17 and sealing his win off a near perfect 9.17 for a long barrel ride (both out of ten), to edge out the Australian with a 14.54 to Perrow's 13.77.Flores's result today sees him finish the year in the ASP World No. 9 position.The Billabong Pipeline Masters is the final stop on the ASP Men's World Tour and the third and final jewel of the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing. In its 40th year, it is the longest running and most prestigious professional surfing event in the world. The event runs 8-20 December 2010 and includes the World's Top 32 surfers as well as 15 Hawaiian Pipeline Specialists, of which twelve are event wildcards.The Vans Triple Crown of Surfing consists of three men's and three women's professional surfing events that are the final stop on the 2010 Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) World Tour.
